Patricia was born November 24, 1935, to a single mother during a time parents would not allow their children to raise them. Her mother was Virginia Ann Floer. The story wasn't clear on who the father was; just know he wasn't around. After the baby was born Virginia name her Patricia Ann her father took the baby away; and gave her to her married older sister to raise. I'm not sure if Virginia ever saw the baby or not. Her father probably didn't want her raising a baby as he had been a single parent since 1929 with the loss of his wife and was still raising his family with three underage which included Virginia. A year later Virginia married and had 3 more children but during the birth of her 4th child she and the baby died in 1943. When Virginia had her second daughter she also named her Patricia Ann as that was the name she wanted for her own daughter. The family kept the secret of the family adoption hidden in the closet for 65 years and Patricia Ann Floer Bine-Birch never found out whom her real mother was. True she knew she was adopted but she never knew that her adopted mother was really her aunt. And the whole time she was growing up among blood family.
