Shirley Ray Lowe, 78, of Lumberton died on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital.

Services will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at West Black Creek Baptist Church followed by burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lowe served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of West Black Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Irene Lowe; three brothers, Lionel Lowe, Leslie Lowe, James Lowe and one sister, Vernice Dearman.

He is survived by his wife Nelda Jean Lowe of Lumberton; two daughters, Beverly (Mike) Miller of Hattiesburg and Mona (Wade) Gipson of Lumberton; five grandchildren, Payton Miller, Amber Paige Gipson, Lindsey Nichols, Brittany Guthrie and Morgan Miller; seven great-grandchildren and two sisters, Jolene (Maurice) Chambliss of Lumberton and Lavada Phillips of Purvis.
