Mrs. Rosemary C. Richardson (Ruoff), age 88, of Rockford passed away peacefully Sunday, January 29, 2017 after a long battle with COPD. She is survived by her husband Jack, her daughters Rene’ Lewensky (Guda Camacho) and Julia (Frank) Renberg, son in law Thomas Lewensky, granddaughters Amanda Lewensky (Jamie Vandenelzen), Amy Lewensky (Patrick Cavanna), Tara Lewensky, Vicki Lewensky, Adeline Renberg, Alayla Renberg and Avery Renberg, great grandsons Chase Vandenelzen and Cole Vandenelzen, her siblings Sr. Monica Ruoff, Richard Ruoff, Robert Ruoff, Romayne London, sister in law Nancy (Kent) Eckhardt, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her children Maryann Richardson and James Richardson, her parents Edith and Joseph Ruoff, her siblings Gerald Ruoff, Maureen Ruoff and Patricia Miller. Rosemary was an avid reader, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was a huge Detroit Tigers Fan but her true joy was found with her family. In a true selfless act, Rosemary chose to have herself donated to medical research. A Memorial Open House to celebrate Rosemary’s life will be held on Saturday February 4, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Frank and Julia Renberg residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
