A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, in the Fountains Ball Room for Arthur John Galloway, who died Dec. 24, 1999, at age 82.
Mr. Galloway was born Sept. 6, 1917, in Portland. He graduated from Commerce High School, now Cleveland. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and also was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a furniture manufacturer for Builtwell Furniture for nine years and also worked at the Umatilla Army Depot in Hermiston, retiring in 1973. He married Nita M. Hunt in 1974.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Omega Funeral & Cremation Service.
