Ray E. Snider, 80, of Bois D 'Arc, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017.
Ray the son of George O. and Gerlie Lee (Porter) Snider, was born near Ash Grove and was a lifelong area resident. Ray owned and operated S&S Auction Company for 30 years with Colonel Stanly Arbuckle. He enjoyed everything that the outdoors had to offer, especially, night coon hunting, coyote hunting, and crappie fishing. Ray was a member of several organizations and boards. He served as past President of Greene County Fox Hunting Association, Missouri Braunvieh Association, Green County Coon Hunting Association, and Bois D' Arc Boosters and he was a board member of The National Braunvieh Association of America.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and one son John Snider.
Ray is survived by a son; Raymond Snider and wife Brenda; a daughter, Luan Killman and husband Mike; five brothers, Alfred Snider, Carl Snider and wife Evelyn, Henry Snider and wife Marty, Ralph Snider and wife Melody, and Ken Snider; a sister, Kathy Martorano and husband Steve; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Willard, MO.
