Venita "Netti" Wolf, 94, Hays, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at Via Christi Village Assisted Living. She was born Jan. 10, 1923, in Walker to Henry and Clementine (Dreher) VonLintel.

She married Ernest F. "Ernie" Wolf on May 15, 1944, in Hays. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella, and the Altar Society Christian Mothers. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, tending to her yard and flowers, good cook that enjoyed baking cookies for her grandchildren. She enjoyed to shop and always made sure cards and gifts arrived in time for family birthdays.

Survivors include her husband, Hays, two sons, David Wolf and wife, Gloria, Windsor, Colo.,, and Karl Wolf, Hays, a daughter; Barbara Werth and husband, Darrell, Hays; two brothers, Gilbert VonLintel and Otto VonLintel and wife, Rita, all of Hays; two sisters, Catherine Pfannenstiel, Hays, and Joanna Murta, St. Charles, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Blanche VonLintel, Hays; five grandchildren, Ashley Hatfield and husband, Bob and Angela Chaffin and husband, Matt, all of Dodge City, Christopher Werth and wife, Bethan, Overland Park, Ryan Werth and wife, Sara, Prairie Village, and Jessica Werth, Kansas City, Mo.; 10 great-grandchildren; Amanda Hatfield, Payson Hatfield, Kylie Collins, Maleia Chaffin, Cecelia Fisk, Mary Katherine Werth, Aidan Werth, Brooklyn Werth, Atley Werth, and Bennett Werth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Norbert VonLintel; two half-brothers, Ben and Linus VonLintel, and eight half-sisters; Angela Richmeier, Lonie Huser, Agnes Brungardt, Thecla Brungardt, Mary Rohleder, Regina Brungardt, Sophia Stecklein, Josie Leiker, and Elizabeth Schmidtberger.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, both at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine, Hays, KS 67601. A Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a vigil at 6:30 p.m., both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church rectory fund or Thomas More Prep-Marian High School in care of the funeral home.
