Ralph Dean Holland, 73, of Heyworth, passed away at 2:38 a.m. Monday (Jan. 30, 2017) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

Ralph was born May 15, 1943 in Wapella, the son of Paul and Martha Collins Holland. He married Karen Lea Willis on Aug. 12, 1967. They were married for 21 years.

Survivors include his son, Brian (Jill) Holland; three grandchildren and siblings, Betty Ellis, Ronnie (Joyce) Holland and Kathy (Vernon) Meadows.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Richard and John Wesley Holland and one sister, Beverly Ann Kraft.

Ralph was a 1961 graduate of Wapella High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. After working for Holland Brothers Plumbing and Heating until 1996, he started Ralph Holland Plumbing Inc. in Heyworth with his son and worked until present day.
