Connie Sue Morgan, daughter of Oral and Vivian Larimore Foust, was born July 2, 1949 in Lebanon Missouri and entered her Heavenly home December 23, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Connie spent her childhood as a hard working farm girl. She was the oldest of six sisters and also had a younger brother. Connie and her siblings always remained close. They grew up with a large family all under one roof, including grandparents. Connie truly enjoyed her childhood and the many stories and memories they shared together.
On February 19, 1970, Connie was untied in marriage with J.R. Morgan. Shortly after, J.R. and Connie started their family becoming parents of one daughter, Pam and one son, Jon. Using what Connie learned growing up. she ad J.R. worked hard on their own dairy farm. She milked cows, hauled hay, drove tractors and tended to the livestock, all while J.R. owned and operated his full time milk route.
Eventually, they sold the farm. Connie became actively involved in her children's activities. She was always good at making holidays and birthday's special. When she wasn't tending to the needs of her family, Connie was also very active in community events. She was a member of garden club, ad helped judge children's projects at the Laclede County Fair, Connie was also president of the Washington Cemetery board. She helped with several mission trips and began her journey with genealogy, which she was very passionate about. While researching family history, Connie made many dear friends which she treasured.
Connie made a profession of faith in Christ as a young girl, along with her sister, Vicky. At the time of her passing, Connie was a longtime, active and faithful member of White Oak Pond Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she served on many committees through the years. She also had ties to many other churches in the surrounding communities due to her large family and loved neighbors.
Connie leaves to celebrate her memory, her husband J.R.; one son, Jon Morgan and his wife Dana of Lebanon, MO; one daughter Pam Bakeberg, also of Lebanon, MO; one brother Mike Foust and his wife Julie of Morgan, MO; her mother, Vivian Foust; six sisters, Vicky Powell and her husband Ken of Lebanon, Mo, Beverly Bowman and her husband Don of Conway, MO, Dottie Sharp and her husband David of Lebanon, MO, Debbie Harpham and her husband David of Conway, MO, Terri Gerhart and her husband Garry of Washington, MO, and Becky Ruble and her husband Daryn of Lebanon, MO; three grandchildren, Haley and Griffon Bakeberg and Justin Morgan; other relatives; church family and many friends.

Connie grew up in a time when it was good to be a Christian and better yourself. It was good to be productive and try your best at everything. She strived to make a difference in others lives, by caring for them and standing up for what she believed in. There were many sides of Connie, according to her family, each of her friends were touched in different way, according to what time in her life they met. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and attentive and dearly loved grandmother. Her siblings and friends will forever cherish her memory. She will be deeply missed forever.
Connie made a book of memories collected from her family members. She completed it in 2006, and gave a copy to each of her siblings for Christmas. At her father's funeral she placed a copy at his feet, so he could keep those memories with him. In the book, there is a quote from Connie for all who read it....."P.S. PLEASE FORGIVE ANY MISTAKES, I CHECKED IT OVER TWICE AND TRIED REALLY HARD TO GET EVERYTHING RIGHT."
