Patricia Parnell, 66, of Warrensburg, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017.
Patricia was born February 8, 1950 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Patrick and Shirley (Willoughby) Vogt. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and retired from Decatur Public Schools. Patricia married Allen Parnell July 16, 1972 in Decatur.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Allen of Warrensburg; children: Carrie (Kevin) Ray of Mt. Zion, Matthew Parnell of Decatur; grandchildren: Austin Ray and Colton Ray; father, Patrick Vogt of Decatur and sister, Amy (Glenn Koball) Blandford of Sacramento, CA.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Anthony “Tony” Vogt.
Celebration of life services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 11, 2017, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2727 N. Edward St., Decatur, IL 62526. Private family entombment will take place in the Star of Hope Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery.
