Donna Maurine May went home to he with Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 10:00pm on Sunday, December 18, 2016. Donna was born in Buhl, Idaho, on May 9th, 1933 to Maurice & Eva Ostendorph. On December 19, 1970, Donna married Roy May bringing four children to the union while Roy brought three of his own. Donna lived a full life and always enjoyed being around her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Before his passing, Donna enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables with her husband Roy as well as numerous extended vacations in the motorhome. Donna will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking, not the least of which were the waffles which her grandchildren begged her for on countless occasions. Donna was a faithful member to Treasure Valley Baptist Church for over 35 years. Donna greatly cherished the many friendships she had in the church!
Surviving are three sons, Curtis Doty (Rose) of Meridian, ID, Roy May Jr. of Wasilla, AK, Jeffrey May (Sandy) of Wasilla, AK, Kendall Doty (Shelley) of Meridian, ID; two daughters, Teresa May Rebantad (Bob) of Powell River, BC, Shelley Fleming (Al) of Meridian, ID; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roy, sister Lois Poole, sister Judy Olander and son Steven Doty.
