Margaret was born in London, England on November 12, 1923 and came to the United States as a war bride, with her new husband, Gail L House, who preceded her in death on December 18, 1999.
She was a strong family woman and leaves behind four children; Gail (Russ) Caputo, Kathleen "Kim" Baehr, Zelda (Carl) Emery and Timothy House. She has nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Counting those she left behind is difficult because all those who entered our lives became a permanent member of her family. She loved deeply and welcomed all who needed a home and an open heart.
Margaret spent her young adult life in the English Army during World War II where she met and fell in love with a young American Soldier and came to the United States. Although she always referred to England as "home", she proudly became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1975.
Margaret will be missed by all who knew her. She was loved, respected and honored as our matriarch, advisor and friend.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 27, at 11:00 AM at the Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Pastor Diane Bell will officiate.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi.
