The service (part in English and in German) will be 9 a.m. Thursday at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home Inc., 2000 W. Market St., York. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. There will be no viewing.
Mrs. Grenda was born on Nov. 24, 1906, in Berlin, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Ernst Veit.
She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and the Alpenrose German-American Association.
Mrs. Grenda also is survived by a daughter, Ingeborg Kumbier of Berlin, Germany; a grandson; and two great-granddaughters.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor. the Rev. Dr. Charles A. Snyder Jr., and the Rev. George Naumann, retired Lutheran minister. 03-28-94
