Obituary of James Roy Todd
James Roy Todd, age 83, of Oppelo, Arkansas, passed away in his home Saturday, January 28, 2017. He was born May 11, 1933 in Oppelo, a son of Johnnie Albert Todd and Minnie Willis Todd. He was an Army veteran, worked in law enforcement for the City of Buena Park, CA, and a retired security guard for Green Bay Packaging at the papermill. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sons of Confederate Veterans and 32nd Degree Mason with Lodge # 238.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Bale Todd; 3 children, Randy Todd and his wife Gina of Oppelo, Brian Todd of Russellville, and Toni Miller and her husband John of Mesa, Arizona; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Jim is preceeded in death by his parents and all 3 brothers.
"Bug", the youngest, was closest in age to Jim. "Bug" passed away on his 33 birthday in 1968. Jim has missed his little brother terribly. After 48 years, they are together at last.
The brothers- Johnnie Earl, William Harold, Jim and their dad, were at one time all employed in law enforcement or security. They are fondly referred to, by the family, as the "Todd Squad."
