Harold H. Cooler, 84 of Hardeeville, SC passed away on January 3, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, Savannah, GA
Harold was born in Hardeeville, SC on February 14, 1932 to the late Owen D. Cooler and Florrie Mae Cooler. He was the Manager for Maurene Plantation for many years; US Army veteran; member Red Dam Baptist Church where he served as Deacon; and an avid hunter who traveled to Canada, Montana, Colorado for big game hunting. He loved his family and they were the most important part of his life.
Harold is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce Bennett Cooler of Hardeeville; his daughter, Dianne C. Tillman (Wilbur) of Hardeeville; one brother, Brad Cooler of Hardeeville; two grandchildren, April Cooler and Stephanie Tufts (Nathan) all of Hardeeville; and fourteen great grandchildren Toni, Andrea, Dustin, Taylor, Alexis, Samantha, Kristen, Jesse, Skyler, Dalton, Caleb, Emilee, Sophia, and Abby; and two great great grandchildren, Rilynn and Dalynn. He was predeceased by brothers, Louis Cooler, Warren Cooler, Charles Cooler and Edward Cooler.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, January 6, 2017 at Red Dam Baptist Church, Hardeeville, SC with burial in the church cemetery.
