Funeral services will be held at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St. at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 with burial to follow at Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories, Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Gillis was born on August 23, 1931 in Hamlin, TX to the late Clinton and Ollie Mae Gillis. Preceding him in death were his parents.
