Reported age at time of death was 64 years, so evidently born about 1867. Daughter of S. C. & Susan (GOODMAN) BOWLES (both born in Georgia). Married unknown MOBLEY; he survived her and perhaps was W. E. MOBLEY of Macon, Georgia, the informant for her death certificate.


Mary Jane Galer's list of persons interred in the New Cemetery area of Linwood shows: Mrs. I. M. MOBLEY, female, died aged 64 years in Macon, Georgia, of angina; buried 20 MAR 1931 in Section C, Lot 284, by undertaker [Charlton Lafayette] TORBETT, reference local death certificate #10124A - Sexton J. B. SHORES.


This grave is probably not identifiably marked. Others reported to be in Section C, Lot 284, include Robert Hardwick HINES (buried 02 MAY 1892, aged 25 years, and T. T. MURAH (reinterred there 05 DEC 1906). Robert has a marked grave in Dolores Autry's Section K, Lot 8 ("HINES" on step) - see her "Historic Linwood Cemetery" book, Volume 3.

Husband's remains were disinterred from cemetery at Chipley (now Pine Mountain) in Harris County, Georgia, and reinterred in Linwood C-284 on 05 DEC 1906.
