He had been in the antique business for the past several years, and prior to that was a member of the Morris equipment firm of Gould and Bridges. He also had been with the Westinghouse Corporation, and a salesman for the Linn Tractor Company of Morris. Mr. Gould was born in Cooperstown on April 28, 1890, a son of George L. and Elizabeth (Van Horne) Gould. He attended Cooperstown High School. Mr. Gould was a member of Hillington Lodge, F. and A.M. Hillington Chapter, R. A. M., both of Morris; Otsego Commandery, No. 76, K. T., of Cooperstown; and Ziyara Shrine Temple of Utica. He married the former Miss Laura Ferry on November 10, 1917.
