Emily Myers, 91, of East Rockhill Township, passed away at her residence Thursday, January 26, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Myers, who died in 1969. Born in Geryville, she was the daughter of the late James and Tillie (Lutz) Ambrose.
Emily had been employed for many years as an inspector at the former U. S. Gauge Division, Ametek, Inc., Sellersville, until retiring in 1991. Mrs. Myers was a long-time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville. A published poet, Emily had also loved to cook and knit.
Survivors: Two Grandchildren; Four Great-Grandchildren; Nephews, Jeffrey Ambrose, of Telford; Dennis Harbon, of Center Valley; and Nieces, Lynda Honeywell, of Murfreesboro, TN; Donna Dobson, of San Clemente, CA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael J. Myers, in September 2016, and James Myers, a brother, John Ambrose, and a sister, Agnes Harbon.
Services: Visitation, 9-9:45 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main St. Sellersville, PA 18960; Mass-10 a.m., Interment - adjoining parish cemetery.
