Carol was born on October 10, 1936 in Melrose, MA to Ella and Arthur (Bud) Kirmes. Carol is survived by her four children, Kathy Grant of Fairfield, ME, Karen Burden, of Sandown, NH, Sally Fisher of Colorado Springs, CO and Paul Nicholson of Newton, NH and their spouses, her sister and brother, Shirley Hough of Grapevine, TX and Vic Kirmes of Gorham ME and their spouses, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her husband, Edward Beaver, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jonathan Nicholson and nephew Scott Kirmes.
Carol was a proud, determined and strong woman who touched many lives with her stories and humor. Regardless of her struggles she always had a way to make your smile and laugh.
She worked at Compaq as a computer analytics for many years, she enjoyed baking, chocolate, going to Big Lots, watching old movies and listening to Elvis.
There will be a celebrating of life at Brewitt Funeral Home at 14 Pine Street, Exeter, NH, February 5, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. She will be buried at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, MA. and burial will be private.
