Dawn B. Wright, 75, of Silver Ridge Park West, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Community Medical Center, Toms River surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bristol, PA, she lived in Old Bridge, NJ before moving to Toms River in 1976.
Dawn was an Administrative Secretary for the Ocean County Board of Social Services in Toms River for 27 years, retiring in 2003. She was a parishioner of St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville, NJ and St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.
Dawn was predeceased by her husband Roy W. Wright, Sr. in 1980, her daughter Lorraine Cannella in 2007, a sister Josephine Potochar in 2001 and her parents Joseph Kohler in 1988 and Beatrice Kohler in 2008.
She is survived by her four sons Roy W. Wright, Jr. and his wife Eleanor of Toms River, Christopher Wright and his wife Brandy of Seaside Heights, NJ, Joseph Wright and his wife Paula of Lanoka Harbor, NJ and Bryan Wright and his girlfriend Melissa of Toms River, four brothers Joseph Kohler of Toms River, Kenneth Kohler of Toms River, Lester Kohler of PA and Thomas Kohler of East Brunswick, NJ, a sister Mary Anne Van Brakle of Alabama, 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
The family will receive friends Monday 2-4 & 6-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday 11:00am at St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville, NJ. Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
