Amber Nicole Nichols, 41, of Grandview, was born December 10, 1975, in Whittier, California, the daughter of Bradley W. Nichols and Sheryll A. (McCann) Morello. She departed this life at 1:27 a.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017, at the Belton Research Hospital.

Amber was a 1993 Hacienda Heights, California, Los Altos High School graduate.

Amber had been employed as a dispatcher for several different trucking companies in the Kansas City Area. She was currently a homemaker.

Amber is survived by her three children, Miranda Nichols, Nathaniel Nichols, and Ian Nichols, all of Grandview; her father and step-mother, Brad and Karen Nichols of Kansas City; her mother and step-father, Sheryll and Michael Morello of Anaheim, California; siblings, Michael Morello and Matthew Morello, both of Anaheim, Jessica (and Aaron) Asher of Lee’s Summit; and Tyler Marks of Mission, Kansas; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the children and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
