She was born April 23, 1930, in Wales, Great Britain, daughter of the late Thomas and Vinicent Lewis Thomas.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Thelma Bertoni.
Mrs. Blackburn was a former employee of the University of Southern California.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver Wendell Blackburn; one son, David Blackburn, both of El Segundo, Calif., a brother, Phillip Thomas of Chardon, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Dearth Funeral Home, New Salem, after 7 p.m. today and until 11 a.m., on Friday, the hours of service, with the Rev. Phillip A. Maronde officiating. Interments will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
