Robert Lee "Bob" Bentley, 78, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away on December 17, 2015. Born in Yuma, Arizona, and raised in Phoenix, Bob was an Arizona Native, who graduated from North High School in 1955. He was co-owner of Bentley-Dille Gradall Rentals and Triangle Construction. He was a founding member and past president of the Arizona Utility Contractors Association. Bob was an active member of Radiant Church. Here was preceded in death by his parents, Oran and Louise Bentley. He is survived by his beloved wife, of 57 years, Joanne Carver Bentley; and their children, daughter, Terri (Stephen) Smith; their son, Steve (Diane) Bentley; grandchildren, Eric Smith, Sarah Smith, and Justin Bentley; great-grandson, Steven Bentley; and his sister, Bettye McDonald. Bob will be remembered as a kind and generous man, and forever, will be a bright light in the hearts of all whose lives were touched by him. Arrangements entrusted to Surprise Funeral Care. A Memorial Service to honor Bob's life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at 10:00 AM, at Radiant Church, 15522 W. Paradise Lane, Surprise, Arizona, 85374. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a charitable donation to Radiant Church Reach, to support church efforts in assisting the community.
