His service was conducted on Saturday afternoon, January 28 by his beloved pastor, Bro. Ron Ralph, at the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Burial followed the 1:00 p.m. service in the Gazebo Gardens of Dixon Springs Cemetery.
He was a sinner saved by grace and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Mr. Horton was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Horton, who died in 2015.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Spruell Horton; step-sons, Donald Thomas & wife Mary of Powell, WY, Carl Caler of Texarkana, AR; sister, Rose Horne of Benton, AR; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
