Phyllis Janet Hatter Crawford, 87, Covington, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at Rocky Mount Rehab Center.
She was born on December 14, 1931 in Alleghany County to the late Herbert Spencer Hatter and Gladys Garber Hatter.
She is also preceded by her husband, Gordon Houston Crawford; four sisters: Lois Hill, Thelma Scott, Leah Rider and Elsie Wright.
She was retired from Hercules.
She is survived by two nephews, Dennis A. Rider and Sam Wright; one niece, Susan W. Barnett.
A private graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Alleghany Memorial Park.
