Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lexington, with Father Carl LoPresti officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Lexington Community Center. Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or the Lexington Fire Department.
Calvert-Johnson & Musselman Memorial Home, Lexington, is assisting the family with services.
Patti was born Sept. 8, 1949, in Bloomington, the daughter of Joseph Bernard and Mary Elizabeth “Marie” Beckman Grunloh. She married Robert W. Brown on July 6, 1968, in Chenoa.
He survives along with two sons, Kevin (Jodi) Brown, Washington, and Mark (Michelle) Brown, Lexington; one granddaughter, Kylie Brown; one sister, Linda (John) Cheever, Lexington; one brother, Steve Grunloh, Bloomington; three sisters-in-law, Doris (Marvin Cooke) Grunloh, Towanda; Carol (Ron) Eckhart and Patti (Roger) Eckhart, both of Lexington; and one brother-in-law, Pat (Carol) Dust, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Michael; and one sister, Mary.
Patti was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lexington and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society at the church. She graduated from Lexington High School, Class of 1967. She was retired and had worked as a secretary at Lexington High School. Patti was an avid basketball fan, and loved her Lexington Minutemen and Washington Panthers.
