AURORA, Colo. — Bobbie Jean Quandt, 77, beloved mother and wife, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, in Aurora, Colo.

Services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Aurora, Colo. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park at Grand Island at a later date.

Bobbie was born on Oct. 22, 1939, in North Platte to Joseph and Mildred (Bending) Webber. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1957, and completed X-Ray Technician school in Hastings two years later. On March 19, 1960, she married her high school sweetheart, Harold Quandt. Harold and Bobbie were married for just two months shy of 57 years.

In her spare time, Bobbie enjoyed every kind of craft, from tole painting to scrapbooking. In recent years, she and Harold operated an eBay business reselling collectibles they purchased at auction.

Bobbie is survived by a loving family: her husband, Harold Quandt; a daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Tim Berglund; a son, Michael Quandt; three grandchildren, Zach Berglund and wife, Dorothy, Hannah Berglund, and Sarah Berglund; and a sister, Betty Hoeft.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mildred Webber.
