He was the husband of the late Sandra Arnold (Sterner) and companion of the late Sarah Miller.
Born May 31, 1934, in York, he was the son of the late Albert Arnold, Sr. and Eleanor (Kibler).
Walt was a truck driver with Motor Freight and Schaefer Wholesale Florist.
He enjoyed visiting with friends, fishing, going to the casinos, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Walt leaves to cherish his memory his children, Walter Allen Arnold and wife, Cindy of York, Wade Arnold of Lititz, Melody Livelsberger and husband, Richard of York; four grandchildren, Justine Garman and husband, Joe, Kristen Lawton and husband, Todd, Eric Livelsberger and wife, ReaiJah and Ashley Bertossi and husband, Frank; four great-grandchildren, Evan, Kyle, Lola Garman, and Elijah Livelsberger.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert Arnold, Jr., Donald Arnold; and a sister, Phyllis Stambaugh.
A celebration of life service will be held at ValleyView Alliance Church, 200 Alliance Avenue, Hellam, on Saturday, February 4, at 11 a.m. with his childhood friend and pastor, Earl Heist, officiating. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 E. Market St., York, is assisting with arrangements.
The family wishes to thank Hospice and Community Care for their exemplary service to Walt.
