She was the daughter of the late Alex Orval Woodrum and Margaret Rush Woodrum. June was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. She was an active member in the Church of the Nazarene from which she received the award for State Sunday School Teacher of the year. June enjoyed traveling to the beach; Myrtle Beach was her favorite.
She loved cooking and baking for her family. June's family loved her fruit cakes and home made apple butter. She enjoyed farming with her husband, Allen. They would grow and can green beans which were sent as far as Houston, TX, to Toronto, Canada, to be enjoyed by the family for Thanksgiving dinner; a taste of home.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Denver W. Haynes.
June will be missed by her loving husband, Allen Bibbee; sons, R. David Haynes (Sharon), Dan Haynes (Dawn) and Allen D. Bibbee, Jr. (Michelle); five grandchildren, Danielle, Richie, Cynthia, and Jennifer; eight great-grandchildren, Drew, Ella, Jenna, Luke, Caleb, Noah, Eli, Titus and Kaylee; and a sister, Alice Wehrle (Stacy).
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
