Larry Allen Downum, 32, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004. He was born May 11, 1972 in Farmington, MI to Raymond and Avenilla Roberts Downum. Prior to moving to Rockport three months ago he lived in Aransas Pass for 19 years.
Downum is survived by his wife, Caroline Downum of Rockport; four sons, John David Downum and Devon Cordell, both of Aransas Pass, Brian Lee Downum of Rockport, and Preston Downum of Monahan; two daughters, Felicia Downum and Brittany Downum both of Rockport; his mother, Avenilla Hinton of Aransas Pass; eight brothers, Anthony Downum of Rockport, Curtis Downum and Timothy Downum, both of Michigan, Christopher Downum of Cleveland, Ray Lee Downum of Missouri, William Davis of Aransas Pass, and John Davis and Shaun Davis both of Houston; four sisters, Tabatha Elmore, Lisa Davis, Samantha Davis and Katie Davis all of Aransas Pass and his maternal grandfather, Andy Roberts of Kentucky.
Graveside services were conducted Sunday, Sept. 19 at Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery.
