Vincent Lee Robinson Shelley, Kokomo, passed away at 10:52 pm, Saturday, January 21, 2017, in Mt. Clemens, MI. Lee was born December 10, 1982, to Paula Robinson Shelley and Randy Burris (Ottawa Hills, OH). Lee was adopted and raised by his stepfather, Keith Shelley (St.Paul, IN) on October 17, 1988.

Lee was a 2001 graduate of Kokomo High School and attended Ivy Tech and IUK, Kokomo, and worked at Motor City Stamping (MI); Lee was a skilled musician with quick wit and endless knowledge. He built many strong, long lasting friendships throughout his lifetime. Lee began playing guitar at 14 and recording his own music at 17. In 2002 - 2005, Lee formed the band, Loving all Phenomena, with several close friends, playing a few local shows, but recorded sessions frequently. In 2005, Lee began recording as a solo artist, many of these recordings were done under the name Tenemos Menos. He attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic School and was a former member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Lee attained the rank of Life Scout when he was in Boy Scout Troop #508.

Lee is survived by his daughter, Alexis Shelley; parents; sister, Allison Shelley, Kokomo; and brothers Derek (Stephanie) Shelley, Norfolk, VA; Cameron Burris, Ottawa Hills, OH; Grandfather, Donald Shelley, Mesa, AZ; Lee was the proud uncle of Joseph Haun, Brennan Shelley, Edward Spurlin, Orion and Esme Shelley. Lee will be dearly missed by aunts and uncles, Bridget (Tom) Boston, Lafayette, IN; Monica Robinson, McMechen, WV; Vincent (Dora Luz) Robinson, Kyle, TX; Stephanie (Chris) Vega, Virginia Beach,VA; Karen (Manuel) Puyana, Raleigh, NC; Anne Robinson, Portsmouth, VA; Erin (Shirley) Robinson; Eric (Michelle) Robinson, Lufkin, TX; Elizabeth Rother, Mesa, AZ; Leslie (Tammy) Shelley, Kokomo; and cousins, Matthew & Mark Boston; Katie Robinson; Jessie Castillo, Samantha & Emily Vega; Laura & Ricky Puyana; Robert & Brianna Robinson; Emma, Aleksandar, Oliver, & Sebastian Robinson; Zenas Rother; and Katie Shelley. He will forever leave a hole in the hearts of his countless friends who brought him great comfort and much happiness.

Lee was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Ronald and Dorothy Robinson; Rosemary Shelley: George E. and Darla V. Burris.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 3155 S. 200 W., Kokomo, with Rev. Fr. Matthew Arbuckle the celebrant. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3-5 pm on Friday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo.
