Richard Edward Ham, 81, of Deep Run passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at his home. He was a member of Deep Run Church of God.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Estelle Wagner Ham and Johnnie Ham; brothers, Shug Ham, Bud Ham, Sugerman Ham; sister, Sissy Andrews; brother-in-law, Rat Andrews; son-in-law, Chris McCann; step-daughter, Ernestine Ponce.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maggie Jarman Ham of the home; children, Debbie Kilmer (Phillip) of New Bern, Susan McCann of Greenville, Richard Ham (Tammy) of Vanceboro, Becky Senter (Gary) of Mehoopany, PA, Vicki Killian of FL, Kenneth Horn (Vickie) LaGrange ; siblings, Dolly Andrews of Deep Run, Dean Bradshaw (Mickey) of SC, Peewee Ham (Lena) of Grifton, Linda Rackley (Bernie) of TX; sister-in-law, Annie Ham of Stanley; brother-in-law, Doodle Andrews; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm with Pastor Debra McPeak officiating and daughter Debbie Kilmer giving the eulogy. Graveside service will be held following the funeral service at Westview Cemetery.
