Obituary of Mr. Walter "Wally" Rowe
Mr. Wally Rowe, age 74, of Vancleave, MS, passed away in the comfort of his home, on Sunday, January 22, 2017.

Wally was a resident of the coast since 1975. He served his country for 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, serving in Vietnam and being very proud of his time in the service. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 30 years. He enjoyed, gardening, hunting and fishing; but, his greatest joy came from his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Bertha Rowe, sisters, Violet Janoski, Ruth Larimer and Betty Lou Rowe, brothers, Thomas Rowe, Robert Rowe and Larry Rowe.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Geraldine Rowe, daughter, Marla (Jim) Thielker, sons, Tom (Millie) Rowe and Daryl Rowe, sister, June Holmes, 8 grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, his fur babies, Lulu, Mimi, Zuzu and granddogs, Fred and Cush.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 30, from 11:30am until 1:30 pm, with a 1:30 pm chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
