Hank attended Roosevelt High School before moving to Thousand Oaks where he attended Thousand Oaks High School (TOHS). He played basketball on Coach Bob Fisher's 'B' team during his Junior year and Coach Ackerman's Varsity basketball team as a Senior. He earned his letters each year. During his Senior year, Hank worked on the TOHS Newspaper and was a member of the Letterman's Club.
