OBITUARY:
Leona Stinson passed away on May 5, 2007, in Pasco, Washington at the age of 85. She had been a resident of the Tri-Cities for 67 years.

She was born November 10, 1921 in Richmond, Utah, to John William Hendricks and Annie May Hadley Hendricks. Her early life was spent in Lewiston, Utah.

After she graduated from high school, Leona moved with her family to Washington where she met Frank Stinson. In 1941, they were married and built their home on Frank's farm in West Pasco. In their early years of marriage, Frank became ill with Multiple Sclerosis making it difficult for him to work the farm.

In 1953, they moved to town where Leona began working to help support the family. In later years, she assisted Frank with his Professional Appraisal Company. Church and community activities were a big part of Leona's life. She especially enjoyed sharing her musical talents and directing church choirs.

Her home was surrounded by beautiful flowers reflecting her great love of gardening. She remained a constant source of strength and comfort to her husband in his illness as well as a source of love and support for her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in January, 1994.

She is survived by her children; daughter, Dawn Rae (Dean) Molen; son, Steven (Cheryl) Stinson; son, Stanley (Paulette) Stinson; 13 Grandchildren and 24 GreatGrandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, May 19th, 2007, 1:00 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints on Road 100 in Pasco, Washington. Mueller.s Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco is in charge of the arrangements.
