1.) PECK. Jemima Peck was born April 24, 1818, at Paris, Kentucky. Died at the Saints' Home, Lamoni, Iowa, August 4, 1908.

She was married to Hezekiah Peck July 1, 1840. Eight children blessed this union. Three preceded her to the spirit land, leaving five to mourn her loss.

She united with the Reorganization May 11, 1868, at Salt Lake City, Utah, under the administration of Elder J. W. Gillen. Funeral
from the Saints' church, conducted by Joseph Arber. Prayer

2.) Mrs. Jemima Peck died at the Saints' Home, Tuesday, August 4. She was born in Paris, Ky., April 24, 1818, and at the time of her death was 90 years, 3 months, and 10 days old.

Her son George and his daughter came here from Glenwood, Iowa, Tuesday and shipped her body to that place for burial. She was the mother of nine children, five of whom are living including Hezekiah Peck who lived here for a number of years. She was also an aunt of United States Senator Reed Smoot of Utah.

Short services were conducted at the Home by Elders John Smith and H. A. Stebbins.
