He was a graduate of Pocahontas High School in Pocahontas, Va. After graduation He served his country in The US Air Force. He was an owner operator of his Big Yellow eighteen wheeler, hauling goods all over the United States. He tried to book hauls to take him near his home state of Virginia, so he could visit his Mother.
He is survived by two sons and a sister Barbara Jean Kenley, her husband Jerry,of Rocky Gap,West Va. a brother-in-law Harold A Tollefson of Ill and an aunt, Maina Faye Tollison of Greenville, SC
He was predeceased by sisters, Joyce Ann and Thelma Deloris "Snookie" Day Tollefson
