Johnny’s story begins on April 26, 1966 to the union of Diane Blackbird Crawford and Eugene LeRoy Crawford Sr. Johnny was also blessed to receive his nurturing and upbringing from his uncle and aunt Maurice and Ermalene Crawford. Johnny was not a suit and tie man so you wouldn't find him sitting on a pew on Sunday morning but he did accept Christ into his life at an early age and he loved the Lord. He knew the power of pray. Johnny was born and raised in Kansas City, MO where he meet Joemendia Owens to this union the oldest of his five children Janae Latice Crawford-Owens (Houston, TX) was born then which he meet Linda K. Savage and to this union Johnny Lee Crawford Jr, Jalena Lanea Crawford, Jaydon Lee Craw-ford and Joylia Love Crawford was born (Snellville, GA). Later in life Johnny moved to Georgia with his family where he was cur-rently residing at the time of his departure. Through Johnny's upbringing he learned early in life by example a man goes to work and works to take care of his family. He was a an Automobile Mechanic with lengthy years of em-ployment. His life long passion for automobile mechanics kept him on the go, kept money in his pockets and kept his family fed. His girls stole his heart and those "Kunkle Heads" as he would say kept him on his toes. You could find him playing a good game of pool or watching his beloved Chiefs. The Native American in him loved to relax and enjoy God's herbal medicine. Johnny was an admirable man with integrity and principals. Quick to help and sacrifice. He walked a fearless life he said what he meant and meant what he said. To know Johnny was to love him and who will ever forget that million dollar smile. He was preceded by his parents Eugene L. Crawford Sr, Diane Blackbird Crawford, Maurice V. Crawford and his mother in-law, Mrs. Ethel J. Ballard. His Legacy continues with Janea Latice Owens, Houston, TX, Johnny Lee Crawford, Jr. (Elizabeth) Lawrenceville, GA, Jalena Lanea Crawford, Jaydon Lee Crawford, Joylia Love Crawford, Snellville, GA, his mother, Ms. Ermalene Crawford, Kansas City, MO; four brothers, Eugene L.
