Frank Louis Carr, 78, of Beloit, WI, died January 19, 2017 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born November 15, 1938 in Racine, WI to Robert B. and Dorothy (Otto) Carr. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment operator in California. After living in the Napa area he finally came home to the Midwest. Frank became a farmer in the Beloit area. He loved to compete in tractor pulls, collect antique tractors and cars. Frank also loved country music, dancing and would bellow out a few tunes.
Frank is survived by his children and their families; many nieces and nephews and by five brothers and two sisters.
He was predeceased by his partner Arlene Waller, his parents Robert and Dorothy Carr and niece Vicky Lynn Carr.
Funeral service for Frank will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday January 26, 2017 at Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates funeral home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Philip Allen officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Beloit, WI, with Military Rites accorded by the V.F.W. Post #2306.
