He was born on August 20, 1969 in Cabarrus County, NC. Mark was a proud Veteran of the US Navy and the US Army serving two tours in Iraq in the 1st Infantry Division. He was a member of Jackson Park Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish. He enjoyed spending time on his computer especially when it came to his games and he loved the Carolina Panthers but would always settle for just watching football no matter who was playing. He is survived by his wife of the home; daughter, of the home; father and step mother, step daughters, of the home; granddaughters, brother,and wife, and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Brown and step father, Harry Poe.
Mr. Howell proudly served his Country by enlisting in US Navy serving from 1988 - 1992 and re enlisting in the Army National Guard First infantry serving two tours in Iraq serving over 14 years before being medically discharged.
