A prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, and the funeral will be conducted there at 1 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Sonny Ware presiding. Burial will follow in the Geiogamah family area of Memory Lane Cemetery.
Renee is survived by her six children: Charmagne Hood, Marisa Hood and Sonny Hood, all of Anadarko; Rachelle Moon of Altus; Chris Long of Norman, and Hope Long of Anadarko. Five sisters: Claudette Narcomey of Elgin; Carole Parker of Albuquerque, N.M.; Robin Bledsoe of Brazorie, TX; Margie Maggie Geiogamah of Tulsa; and Lisa Diaz of Anadarko. Three brothers: Henry Hanay Geiogamah of Los Angeles; Daniel Geiogamah and Claude Geiogamah Jr. of Anadarko. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, 11 grandchildren, and many friends.
Renee had a loving personality which she shared with her family and friends, and her laughter was contagious. She loved garage sales and shopping in thrift stores and was a big fan of country music. She was a regular patron on Thursdays at the Anadarko Sale Barn. She was especially devoted to her parents and honored her dad and his Kiowa heritage and ancestry
Renee loved her children and, at the time of her passing, was planning to move close to her granddaughter, Carly, who she considered to be her best friend.
