Jeff was born on January 13, 1962 and had been a Ventura county resident for the past 51 years. His family were a pioneering family and have been long time residents of the Conejo Valley.
He graduated from Thousand Oaks high school in 1980. He was known as a bit of a prankster, with a mischievous twinkle in his eye to go with his big infectious smile. A hard working, warm and always a talker who loved his daughter, family, friends and Duke, his white lab. And anyone who knew him, knew his love of cars, Cadillacs and chrome!
He was a long haul truck driver and owned his own truck. He spent the last two years of his life driving locally as he wanted to be home evenings to help care for his mother.
He is preceded in death by his father Donald Fields and his mother Lynda Fields. He is survived by his daughter Candice of Missouri, his aunt Marilyn Fields and his brother Rodney.
