Thomas-Parker, RN, Jennifer Lea 11-25-1975 to 5-9-2013 Loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and best friend, so loved by all who knew her. Jennifer attended the ADN program at Brookhaven and began her nursing career at the VA hospital in Dallas. Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was the light of these gatherings. She had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. Jennifer valiantly fought and defeated a rare form of lymphoma and had been in remission for over 5 years. She went into cardiac arrest on April 12, 2013 suffering a severe anoxic brain injury, yet held onto life for another 27 days before taking her place with the Lord. She is survived by her husband Daniel, parents Larry and Pam, sisters Kimberly and Teri, two nieces, and a nephew. In lieu of flowers, the family would like all who knew Jennifer to please take a free CPR training class. A viewing will be held at Laurel Land in Dallas on Sunday at 6:00 pm and services will be held Monday at 10:00 am.
