He was the son of Buford and Katie Knight Dearing.
Winston is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Suttie of La Center, WA, and Linda Williams of Ridgefield; a brother, Donald Dearing of Hot Springs; and six grandchildren.Mr. Dearing was born in Wynne, the son of Buford and Katie Aleno (Knight) Dearing. He married Mary Jane Hamilton on December 22, 1951 in Holly Springs, Marshall Co., Mississippi.

Blackie was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, serving a total of 9 years in the Army Air Corps. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Anaconda Wire Company for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Katie; his wife, Mary; a son, Norman Kenneth Dearing; four brothers, Carl Dearing, Troy Dearing, Leon Dearing and his twin brother, Wayne "Whitie" Dearing; three sisters: Joy Hall, Pauline Murphy and Leona Hubbard.

Blackie is survived by two daughters: Carolyn Suttie, Linda Williams and husband Thomas; one brother: Donald Dearing; six grandchildren: Jason Suttie, Janie Suttie, Daniel Suttie, Cory Suttie, Mari Williams and Kenneth Williams.

Winston Murl 'Blackie' Dearing, 80, of Ridgefield, Wash., formerly of Wynne, died Turesday, Jan. 16, at Ridgefield.
He was born dec. 18, 1926 at Wynne, the son of Buford and Katie Knight Dearing.
Winston is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Suttie of La Center, Wash., and Linda Williams of Ridgefield; a brother, Donald Dearing of Hot Springs; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Dearing Cemetery at Wynne.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12-1:45 p.m. in Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home at Wynne, (870) 238-9400
