Wilma Joyce “Johnnie” Welch, age 72, of Newport, passed away January 23, 2017. She was an employee of Detroit Gasket for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Gladys Welch; brother, Jimmy Welch; and brother-in-law, Bill Sutton.
She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Welch; sisters, Patsy Sutton, Judy (George) Calfee, Gail (Walter) Sutton; special nephew, Brandon Welch; special nieces, Amanda Welch and her daughter, Shayla Banks all of Newport; also other nieces and nephews, Angela Ramsey, Rusty Sutton, Chris Calfee, Candace Craig, Scott Sutton, Marcie Crum and Jodie Webb.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens
