Hansen Jr., Stuart M., age 65, of Pompano Beach, passed away November 11, 2016, after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Stuart Hansen, a generous man who sought to bring life and laughter to all he met, treasured Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his 3 brothers, Gary Hansen, Steve Hansen, Jim Hansen, and his sister, Susan Gayle, along with 4 nieces and a nephew. He also leaves behind his stepmother, Sue Hansen, and his stepbrother, David Lutzman.
Stuart, the first of five children of Stuart M. Hansen Sr. & Marjorie Johnson Hansen, spent his early years in Buffalo, New York, before moving to Detroit, Michigan and then on to Kettering, Ohio, where he graduated from Fairmont West High School.
Stuart, a veteran of the Vietnam War, earned a Good Service Medal serving two tours of duty including Germany. He moved to Florida where he worked as a mechanic for several years.
A memorial service with military honors will be held February 11, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. Stuart will be interred in the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
