Stephen E. McDonald, 68, Muncie, departed this world for Heaven on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. He was born Dec. 28, 1948 in Greenville, KY, the son of Edward and Ruby McDonald. Steve was a proud U.S. Marine Corp veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Gina (husband-Justin) Overmyer; son, Chris (wife-Christine) Rawlings; two beloved granddaughters; brother, Larry (wife-Judy) McDonald; and his former wife, Jocelyn McDonald.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruby McDonald; and two brothers, Freddy Durham and Danny Durham.
At Steve's request, there will be no services or visitation. Burial at the National Veteran's Cemetery in Marion will be at a later date. Elm Ridge Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
