A beloved woman, Mary Susan Keeney Crawford, 77, of Belle, WV, died peacefully December 26, 2007, in CAMC Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a retired clerk from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and was a member of Judson Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Lester H. Crawford Jr; sons David Crawford of Alderson, WV, Allan Crawford of Witcher, WV, and Eddie Crawford of Charleston, WV; sister, Trudy Richie of Ventura, Calif.; and grandchildren, Nicholas Crawford, Matthew Crawford and Jonathan Crawford. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 4 at Fidler & Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with Pastor Charles Bolen officiating. The body has been cremated. There will be no visitation. Mary asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association.
