Mrs. Emma Helen Phillips age 85 of Good Samaritan Home, formerly of 628 North 4th, died on Sunday, January 22, 2017 in the home. She was born on January 27, 1931 in Quincy the daughter of Ernest and Clara (Crabbe) Goodwin. She married Leonard Dale Phillips on January 5, 1952. He preceded her in death in 1997. Mrs. Phillips worked for the Quincy Public School System for over 30 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish. Emma liked to travel, shop, play bingo, cards, and gambling. Her greatest enjoyment was time spent with her family, especially the grandkids.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 10:00 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
