A lifelong resident of Henderson County, she briefly moved to FL before moving back to her beloved mountains of Western North Carolina which are full of her life stories and memories with her family. She was a long-standing member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She enjoyed writing poetry and worked as a CNA at Pardee Hospital and as a seamstress. She was known throughout Hendersonville and surrounding areas for her angelic singing. She lived a long, fulfilling life and her family will miss her dearly.
She leaves behind her children, Beverly Parker, Erskine Levi, Kenneth Levi, and David Levi (Sharon) all of Flat Rock; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Mary Katherine Sullivan of Franklin; and brother, Daniel Holbert of Hendersonville.
